Catch the Bus for a FREE day out


Join us for a guided Tour of the new
Sir Samuel Griffith Centre
at the Griffith University’s Nathan Campus.


Then after a free lunch, Griffith University will provide presentations on a range of topics including:

  • David Sparks from the Sustainable Built Environment National Research Centre will present on Livability in Multistorey developments & BREAM integration in Australia, towards housing outcomes that are good for people and the planet

  • Dr Cecilia Bischeri will provide a presentation on the influences of Covid19 on residential housing needs & how C19 is changing home designs.

  • Dr Savindi Caldera will provide a presentation on the importance of ‘livable housing’ as a way to address the current housing crisis through industry and government working together.

A complete building tour of the new Sir Samuel Griffith Centre inside and outside and will include the building and facade, embodied sensors within the building, the HVAC system & Hydrogen store.
A free lunch will be provided after the Building Tour before we launch into a series of panel discussions on a variety of relevant topics. These talks will benefit both students and those already working in the Building Design Industry.
If you only wish to participate in the Building Tour of The new Sir Samuels Griffith Centre this will commence at 10:30am & will be a 2-hour Tour.
IF you can only make it for the afternoon presentations, you are welcome to join us for lunch at 12:30pm
