As the nation joins the world in facing a global health crisis, many people feel isolated and frustratingly cut off from their businesses and business associations. Well we at the BDAA would like to keep you connected to both, via an innovative online forum that you can access from the comfort and relative safety of your home and office.

The Building Designers Association of Australia is proud to introduce the BDAA online chapter program; a high tech and truly universal innovation in our constantly evolving chapter division.

Now from the comfort and safety of your home or office computer, you can stay up to date with all of the latest developments, in our association, our industry, and our world; attain valuable knowledge through our educational member and industry partner presentations; and interact with building designers from across Australia.

Even in a time when many businesses are grinding to a halt, you can turn to the BDAA online chapter to address industry issues, share news of recent successes, plan projects, resolve conflicts and establish contacts with future collaborators.

Every BDAA member claims automatic membership and inclusion in this members only online chapter, and can accept meeting invitations on a month by month basis.

Here is how it will work:

BDAA online chapter meetings will be conducted in a webinar format the 1st Tuesday of the month, to start at 1 p.m. and last for one hour. Each meeting will consist of a 5-10-minute BDAA update, as well as two 20-minute presentations delivered courtesy of our Industry Partners, outside presenters, and/or BDAA members.

All BDAA members will be invited to login to these Internet-based sessions, thus widening the impact and exposure of each BDAA chapter. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or suggestions regarding the new BDAA online chapter program (fill in contact info).

Let’s weather the storm together, all the while keeping the Australian building industry active and productive. Join the BDAA Online.
