The Most Beautiful and Unusual Casino Buildings in the World

Casino resorts and hotel buildings are epicentres of extravagance and wealth. Are you planning to visit a famous casino building any time soon? With only six casinos in New Zealand, it’s understandable if you get bored of these places sooner or later. Yet, if you’re going out of the country to see a casino building, you should visit one with unusual yet beautiful architecture.

Below are some of the most beautiful and unusual casino buildings you should consider visiting, even if only once. For this post, we enlisted the aid of architecture enthusiast and casino specialist George Willson. You can find more of his articles when you visit his page.

The Venetian Macao, Macau

A single glance at the exterior of The Venetian Macao already evokes a sense of unfamiliarity and excitement. This complex with a postmodern architectural style spans an impressive 10.5-million square feet of floor space. Considering its size, The Venetian Macao isn’t only Asia’s largest hotel. It also houses the largest gambling floor in the world, which spans 550,000 square feet. The Venetian Macao is twice the size of its sister complex in Las Vegas.

The complex also features luxurious all-suite guest rooms, a sports area with a 15,000-seat capacity, restaurants, garden swimming pools, and more. Like its Las Vegas sister casino, it also has impressive quasi-Venetian style canals.

Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

The Marina Bay Sands is the best casino building to visit if you’re in Singapore. The complex cost 5.5 billion USD to construct and is the second-most expensive casino property in the world. Its casino atrium holds 500 gaming tables and 2,500 slot machines, making it the largest.

If you want to take a break from gambling, go to the SkyPark. Take a dip in the 500-foot infinity pool to release some stress. Or, if you feel more relaxed when taking walks, consider visiting the Marina Bay Sands Science Museum instead.

Monte Carlo Casino, Monaco

In the 1850s, Charles Garnier built the most recognizable and well-known building in Monaco. The complex features Beaux-Arts and Second Empire architectural styles. Travelling to the Monte Carlo Casino won’t only give you the chance to explore Monaco’s culture and gambling scene. You’ll also visit the most beautiful gambling venues in the world.

The views are exquisite and glamorous, whether you’re inside or outside the casino. To enter The Monte Carlo, you must pay an entry fee of 10 euros. While the casino doesn’t have an official dress code, you need to be in “proper attire.”

Sun City Resort Casino, South Africa

If you find yourself in South Africa for business or pleasure, consider adding a few days to your trip to enjoy the Sun City Resort in South Africa. It is your chance to see and experience a real-life jungle palace that combines the fairytale charm of Disneyland and the Thousand and One Nights.

One of its most exciting and innovative attractions is The Lost City. The resort’s exotic design takes inspiration from the country’s abundant wildlife and majestic wilderness. Also, you may notice that almost every piece of furniture in The Palace is a hand-carved piece, from the hotel’s timber doors to its 50,000-square metre carpets.

The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, Las Vegas

No casino list is complete without a Vegas casino on it. In this case, we’re referring to The Venetian Casino in Las Vegas. It took inspiration and is a tribute to the city of Venice, Italy. Some of its most famous attractions include the Gondola rides and other replicas of various Venetian landmarks.

The Venetian attracts millions of visitors worldwide that want to experience its luxury. From January to July 2021 alone, Las Vegas received 16.8 million visitors. However, if you’re not ready to plan a trip to Las Vegas yet, consider familiarizing yourself with the casino scene via online casinos instead.

New Zealand’s online casinos are some of the most exciting and safest places to gamble. Visit nz-casino.online now if you’re looking for reliable online casinos to try.

Conclusion

Seeing a new casino building in person can be an exciting experience, especially for gamblers. The experience can be even more memorable when you arrive at these famous and gorgeous casinos. With that said, we hope you found the perfect destination for your casino trip around the world.
