Full Energy Assessor Members are required to maintain CPD compliance by completing 6 Formal (Technical) and 6 Informal (General Knowledge) CPD points annually, as well as holding valid Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII).

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for Full Membership as an Energy Assessor, applicants must provide proof of qualifications or equivalent industry experience in energy assessments, thermal performance, or sustainability. This membership is for professionals dedicated to advancing energy efficiency and sustainability in line with national standards.

To apply for Full Membership as an Energy Assessor, you will be required to submit the following documentation and attach with your online application:  

  • Certificate IV in NatHERS Assessment (Certificate of Completion & Record of Results)
  • NatHERS Software
  • Certificate of Currency of Professional Indemnity Insurance (PI CoC)
